Gonorrhea is an STD (sexually transmitted disease) and is caused by a bacteria called Neisseria gonorrhoeae. Gonorrhea can infect the eyes, anus, throat, female reproductive tract, eyes, urethra, and vagina. Luckily, gonorrhea home remedies can help to treat the disease itself and the symptoms.
How is it Spread?
Gonorrhea, like any other STD, is spread through unprotected sex. Most commonly, it is found among people who have multiple sexual partners. People often assume that using a condom will stop the spread of the STD, but that is not always the case, as condoms can tear.
The symptoms of gonorrhea differ depending on the sex of the person, but the symptoms do not tend to show for two to fourteen days after the STD is contracted. It should be noted that it is possible to still have gonorrhea without the symptoms. People who do not have the symptoms are called non-symptomatic carriers. If you are a woman, then you can actually put a little bit of apple cider vinegar on a tampon and leave it in your vagina for a few minutes.

Adding garlic to your diet will not only help to get rid of the bacteria causing gonorrhea, but it will also build your immune system up against other illness that is more common. If you are daring, you can apply a couple of crushed up cloves to the infected area. Make sure to rinse it well after.

Women can use tea tree oil by diluting a few drops of the oil in water and letting a tampon soak up the oil and water before inserting the tampon and leaving it in for several minutes. Men can just dilute the oil and apply it to the area they need to. Tea tree oil should help with gonorrhea because it is very strong in fighting off bacteria and other infections.
This herb is a very common seasoning in cooking. Rosemary has more than 20 antivirals and more than 40 antibacterials that all work together. To use rosemary against gonorrhea, you can either add the herb to your cooking or you can make a drink with a cup of water and a tablespoon of dried rosemary that you need to have twice a day.
Echinacea Essential Oil
This is another essential oil that kills bacteria and you use it in the same sense that you use the tea tree oil. You just dilute the oil in a carrier oil (like almond), apply it to the infected area, and rinse it off after several minutes.
Goldenseal is a herb that is used to fight infection, build the immunity system, and fight cancer. For gonorrhea, you want to focus on the immunity building and infection-fighting aspect. You just add it to your diet.
It should be noted that you should not use goldenseal if you are pregnant, have heart disease, are breastfeeding, have liver disease, or high blood pressure.
Epsom salts are a form of pain reliever, anti-inflammatory, and something to clean the mucous membrane that gonorrhea affects. The next you are planning on taking a soak in the tub, in a cup for Epsom salts and relax for 20 minutes.
Raw honey is used for killing off many bacterias and viruses while also coating a sore throat and keeping inflammation down. To ease a sore throat that often comes with gonorrhea, you can add from honey to warmed honey or tea.
