This article will highlight many effective remedies for genital itching. Many of these home remedies will also work for itching anywhere else on the body.

  1. Yogurt

Plain unsweetened yogurt maybe enjoyed as a dessert after meals but it also has the power to stop genital itching, especially in females. This is because yogurt is a probiotic; that is, it contains good bacteria, which has the ability to fight off bad bacteria and help control the spread of infections through your system.

For females, simply tip a tampon of plain unsweetened yogurt and insert into your vagina for two hours. Repeat this twice daily. To make this remedy even more effective just eat some cups of yogurt on daily basis.

Men can simply eat yogurt once a day to ease their genital itching.
