One of the best ways to keep your psoriasis from flaring is to keep your stress levels down. Whether you are in school or have a job, keeping your stress down can seem almost impossible. There are ways that you can help yourself not to explode under the pressure.

For 4-7-8, your breath in for the count of four seconds, hold it for seven seconds and slowly release over eight seconds. Doing this a couple of times can usually calm someone down.

Flaxseeds are rich in omega-3 fatty oils. The omega-3 in flaxseeds slow or stop the chemicals that cause the inflammation. There are plenty of things that you can do with flaxseeds. People have added them to oatmeal, salads, smoothies, granola, yogurt. Just a tablespoon of ground up flaxseeds a day should be able to help you at least a little.

The mixture should last you a good while since you need enough each time to wet a washcloth.
