Coconut oil has lots of very good benefits. This article is a list of them. Coconut oil is fairly cheap, so it would be a shame not to reap in all of the good it can do for you.

To use coconut oil for your hair, you can either find hair masks in stores or recipes online, or you can simply massage it into your scalp.

Detoxifying compounds in the coconut oil are known to help the liver to do what it’s supposed to. With the liver working well, it take more stress off your body which helps to slow how quickly you age.

You can just add coconut oil to your diet or you can try eating different berries that are known for having antioxidants with the coconut oil. If you cannot bare the taste, try using the coconut oil like a lotion.

While this is not completely a health benefit, it may still interest some people. Instead of using a man-made oil for making things easier, try using coconut oil. It is an oil, so it lubricates; coconut oil kills bacteria and fungi; it moisturizes. It can help to keep you infection free when trying to be more natural when trying to conceive.

Whether to help aging adults or people with epilepsy, there are compounds in coconut oil that have been known to help stop or lessen the number of seizures the person has. Add coconut to your diet to use it as a home remedy for seizures.

Since coconut oil is antibacterial, the compounds in the oil help to kill the bacteria that thrive in your underarms and turn you sweat into the acids that smell. Try rubbing some coconut oil directly onto your underarms like a deodorant. You can use it on other sweaty body parts to reduce body odor as well.

 

  1. Improving Sleep

Some people find coconut to be just as soothing as lavender or camomile. If you think it would help, try mixing some of the oil into a cup of tea or warm milk before bed.

Too much of anything can do serious damage and it goes the same way with coconut oil. Not only that, but also, some people with nut allergies until into allergic reactions with coconuts.
